  1. We are all capable of doing everything there is to do, it is the fear of the unknown that keeps you from trying. Of course if you do, put all your senses in action to turn any project into a pleasant one.
I can, been and am able to tackle just about all kinds of things that I have come across.

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog and “liking” my post so I could find you! I think you and I would be great friends (and complete enablers) if we lived near each other! I can’t wait to get through your posts!! Thanks again!

  3. Hello,

My name is Alexandra. I came across your blog, and thoroughly enjoyed your posts!! I’m an aspiring writer, so I thought I would reach out to see if you might accept guest posts. I love writing about design, fashion and DIY tips and tricks.

I think you will find value in an article that gives insight to the upcoming holiday season and all the decor and projects ahead. From centerpieces, to wreaths and lights, home design and decor the holiday season brings a lot to share.

I would be happy to provide a guest post for you, so please let me know your thoughts!

I look forward to hearing back from you,

    1. Thank you for the offer. Unfortunately, WordPress.com does not allow ads or any sales. If I ever switch to .org, I will let you guys know. Thank you again!

  5. I like DIYing too! Last summer I made a chicken coop out of an old cupboard, without any plan or guidance. It took me months but now it’s almost finished (90percentitis, anyone?). I’m very proud of it, as it’s got wheels, so I can have my chickens clean up any part of the garden (when it’s finished and I get my chickens…). My friend said it looked so good, as if I bought it in a store. I was really scuffed: no way can you buy a unique and beautiful chicken coop like that in any store!

And yesterday I finished my first ever tiling job! I tiled a working/kitchen surface for our temporary living quarters on the first floor of our home, since we’re having major renovations done on the ground floor (ripping out floors, walls and fire places). Since the rents in the neighborhood are crazy, we are now living with 2 adults and 3 children in 2 rooms of 4 by 4 meters (13 by 13 feet). It’s a tight squeeze, but we think we’ll manage. Anyway, we don’t have a kitchen upstairs, so I put in a working surface on some cabinets and decided it needed tiles to feel like a kitchen. It’s surprising how easy it is to tile ( a flat, not so large surface). Now I feel inclined to give the bathroom walls a make-over with mosaic!

    1. Good for you! Isn’t is exciting to do projects by yourself?! I would love to see your chicken coop. 🙂 Sounds fantastic! Good luck with all your renovations. If you tackle the mosaic tiles in your bathroom, send me a picture via email. (in my Contact) Best wishes and Happy New Year!
